Reverend Dr. Cleveland Taft Andre Mason, 2nd

President Mason is a community enthusiast and activist, involved in activities and projects specifically designed to make a difference in the community.  His education, training, experiences, and divine calling have led him down this path. Dr. Mason works with BRIDGE Maryland, advocating for social and political change. He worked tirelessly to help change the minimum wage law in Maryland. Working with the Maryland Faith Health Network, he advocated for healthcare availability and affordability and other related issues which yielded the recent victory of drug affordability legislation. Dr. Mason continues to work to help end crime and violence throughout the state.
 
President Mason has prolific vision and is committted to forging a new direction and preparing a new generation of leaders for the state convention. It is his desire to build strong Christian communities to lead the convention. His approach to strengthening communities for the road ahead has been embraced by all. ​President Mason is a positive, passionate, productive, and progressive leader–leadership that you can count on! He strongly believes that for us to advance the Kingdom of God, we must first reinforce our foundations and work together tirelessly to lift the name of Jesus. “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” -John 12:32.
 
President Mason has held leadership positions with various religious organizations, including Vice President of the Baptist Ministers’ Conference of Baltimore & Vicinity, Vice President-at-Large for the Congress of Christian Education of the Progressive Baptist Convention of Maryland, and President of the Pastors’ Conference of Baltimore & Vicinity. President Mason is a world-wide evangelist and Bible instructor, certified counselor, and CEO of New Life Media Ministries and the New Life Community Development Corporation. He is a covenant partner of the Benny Hinn, Creflo Dollar, and T.D. Jakes Ministries, and a member of Peace for the City Pastors & Congregations Coalition and the Pastors’ Prayer Group of Baltimore.

Reverend Domanic A. Smith

Rev. Domanic A. Smith is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and a founding member of the Maryland Baptist Aged Home Development Corporation. He shares the vision of building a new, state-of-the-art nursing home facility.
 
Rev. Smith is currently employed as the Pastoral Outreach Coordinator for the LifeBridge Health System, Department of Population in Baltimore, and leads LifeBridge Health in all of its faith-based community relations and initiatives.
 
Rev. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Studies from Morgan State University (Baltimore, Maryland) and a Master of Divinity Degree from Duke University Divinity School (Durham, North Carolina). He also studied at Shaw University Divinity School, Raleigh, North Carolina. Rev. Smith is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry Degree with a focus on faith and health from Lancaster Theological Seminary, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  
 
​Rev. Smith was licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1999 and ordained into the Gospel ministry in 2003, through the combined efforts of St. Paul Baptist Church, Baltimore, Maryland  and Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Apex, North Carolina. He has held position (s) and active involvement with the General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, Inc., New Hope Missionary Baptist Association, and the United Baptist Missionary Convention and Auxiliaries of the State of Maryland, Inc., where he now serves as the first elected Executive Secretary.
 
​Rev. Smith also serves as the first Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Kings Landing Women’s Service Club, an organization founded to support programs and projects designed to improve the quality of life for young people.
 
​Rev. Smith is the organizing pastor of The Ezekiel Church and Ministries and the founding Director of Pastoral Care at the Maryland Baptist Aged Home. Moreover, he is a hands-on father to his son, Dillon-Seth Anthony Smith.

Reverend Dr. Derrick C. DeWitt Sr.

Dr. DeWitt is President of the Board of Directors for the Maryland Baptist Aged Home Development Corporation. He is also Chief Finance Officer for the Maryland Baptist Aged Home, President of the Board of Directors for Intersection of Change, Inc., President of the Board of Clergy United for the Transformation of Sandtown-Winchester (CUTS), and moreover, Senior Pastor of First Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Baltimore City. Dr. DeWitt is also an active board member of the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health Food and Faith Project.
 
​Dr. DeWitt is a high school graduate of Baltimore City College. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Averett University, Danville, Virginia), and Master and Doctor of Arts Degrees in Theology and Biblical Counseling (Freelandia Bible College and Seminary, Broadway, Virginia). 
 
Dr. DeWitt was licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1989 and ordained in 1991. In 2002, he founded the Garment of Praise Baptist Church in Clinton, Maryland. In 2007, he returned to his native hometown, Baltimore, to pastor First Mount Calvary Baptist Church. In 2014, Dr. DeWitt was inducted into the College of Ministers and Laity at Morehouse College, Atlanta, Georgia. 
 
Dr. DeWitt is a retired military officer with over 30 years of combined military, federal, and private sector non-profit business management experience, and 20 years of experience as an executive level decision-maker with planning, coordination, and priority goal-setting responsibilities.
 
Dr. DeWitt possesses extraordinary compassion and vision for outreach. His humanitarian efforts largely impacts his hometown, as well as abroad to Africa, where he and his wife support orphanages in Kenya and Uganda. His church operates model food programs, a weekly soup kitchen, free summer camps for youth, a weekly addiction ministry, affordable housing, and much more. DeWitt is credited with helping struggling businesses and churches become financially solvent and has become a noted expert in business finacne strategies and practices.
 
Dr. DeWitt is a loving husband to Lady Cassandra DeWitt and a devoted father to Breona, Derrick, II, Everardo, and Anointe’.
